Valgard: Defend The Realm Game Terms & Conditions

Listed below are the terms and conditions for the Valgard: Defend The Realm online game competition.
This competition ("Promotion") is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over.
If you are under 18 and wish to take part, please ask a parent or guardian (who is 18 or over) to enter on your behalf.
Employees (or family members of employees) of the Promoter or any group company associated with the Promotion, including all affiliates of such companies, may not enter this Promotion.
By entering this Promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them.

To take part in this Promotion, you can enter via https://paultonspark.co.uk/valgard-defend-the-realm-game and play the online game. The entrants who score the top 2 highest scores at the end of each month during the promotional period, will win 4 x entry tickets each to Paultons Park. There is a maximum of 1 winning entry for each entrant during the promotional period.

To participate, you will need to provide your name and email address, agree to the terms and conditions, and indicate if you would like to receive news and offers from the Promoter. If you opt-in to receive news and offers, you will be sent a verification email to confirm your email address.

Monthly High Scores:
The top 2 highest scores must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the last day of each month between February and December 2026.  2 x winners will be selected from all winning, complete, and eligible entries received by the closing date each month.

If two or more participants achieve the same score as the first- or second-highest score at the end of the month, two winners will be selected at random by an independent adjudicator from all eligible entrants with those scores.

The winner will be notified by email after the closing date of each month.

Prize:
The winners of the competition will receive four (4) "Admit One" tickets to Paultons Park. Tickets must be redeemed before the expiry date shown on the tickets. The prize does not include accommodation, travel expenses, spending money, or anything else. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or sold for cash. Valgard: Realm of the Vikings land opens on 16^th May 2026.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend the prizes on offer during the promotional period at any time.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for network, computer, hardware, or software failures of any kind that may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Entries must not be submitted through agents or third parties. Incomplete entries will be disqualified and will not be counted.

If the Promoter detects suspicious activity, they reserve the right to remove or cancel any email address and score entered into the monthly prize competition. Suspicious activity includes, but is not limited to, hacking, auto-generated bot entries, software designed to mislead or gain an unfair advantage in creating high scores, creation of email addresses solely for the purpose of entering the Promotion, the use of virtual private networks (VPNs) to avoid IP address restrictions, and any other activity that seeks to circumvent the Promotion’s terms and conditions or rules of entry.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary due to reasons beyond its control. There is no cash alternative to the prize(s) (or any part of them) unless agreed otherwise in writing. The prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend the game settings, graphics, and user flow to improve the experience for users at any time during the Promotion.

Third-party terms and conditions may apply to parts of the prize, where applicable. Please note that some attractions may have height restrictions.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

The Promoter will not be liable for prizes (or any part of any prize) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

If any winner is unable, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, or cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw date, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.

Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:

• Any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion;
• Any changes to, supply of, or use of the prize; and
• Any act or default of any third-party supplier,
  which are beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

Details of the prize winners' names and counties will be available for one month after the close of the Promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address set out below, stating the name and date of the Promotion.

Winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.

The Promoter will use each winner’s and entrant’s personal details for the purpose of administering this Promotion. Please see our Privacy Policy below for further details.

If you have indicated that you wish to receive marketing materials, the Promoter may use the details you provide to contact you about products and services that may be of interest to you.

This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
